Dr. John O’Connor is a family physician practising with his wife Charlene (a registered nurse). They work downstream from the tar sands of Alberta, in communities exposed to the toxic environmental impact created by the industrialization of vast areas of wetland and boreal forest.
Samantha Hui is an A\J editorial volunteer and an undergrad student in Environment and Resource Studies at the University of Waterloo.
A correspondent for the Green Planet Monitor podcast, Jennifer Moore is a Canadian journalist reporting from Ecuador.
Sibeal McCourt is pursuing her Master’s of Urban Planning at McGill, and is passionate about promoting urban agriculture. She is also an avid gardener, dancer and knitter.
Anne Bell is the Director of Conservation and Education at Ontario Nature, a charitable conservation organization that protects wild species and wild spaces through conservation, education and public engagement.
